Welcome to Heartwood Designs!  My name is Justin, and I am the owner and founder of this business. I started Heartwood Designs in 2020 with the goal of creating beautiful, high-quality wood products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I am based in Maine, where I draw inspiration from the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. My passion for woodworking began as a hobby, but I quickly realized it needed to evolve into something more.  Driven by my love for craftsmanship, I turned my hobby into a business that I am proud of.

In addition to my work as a woodworker, I’m also a Cardiac Sonographer at a local area hospital in Bangor. I’m passionate about using my skills to help others, and I believe that the same high attention to detail that I bring to my wood projects is also essential in my work as a healthcare professional.
